Join the Region 6 Prevention Resource Center for Community Needs Assessment and Data Utilization, an in-person training. Whether you are new to the prevention field or an experienced prevention professional, this training provides practical tools for understanding and using community data to drive prevention efforts. Participants will explore the essential components of a community needs assessment, learn how to examine risk and protective factors, and use local data to identify the most pressing needs and priorities within their communities. The training will guide attendees through interpreting data findings and translating information into meaningful strategies for planning, program development, and resource allocation. By combining foundational concepts with real-world application, participants at all levels will strengthen their ability to make data-informed decisions and develop recommendations that support effective, evidence-based prevention initiatives.
