Coalition of Substance Abuse Prevention (CoSAP)
In the Houston area (Region 6), we have established strong community partnerships, including a successful collaboration with the Coalition of Substance Abuse Prevention (CoSAP) for over 15 years.
Through this partnership, we host and operate the National Drug Take Back Program annually, and in 2023 collected approximately 2,500 pounds of prescription medications to reduce misuse, promoting safe drug disposal.
Youth prevention programs work closely with CoSAP to address the needs of the community by participating in health fairs, coalition meetings, and events such as Family Day Dinners.
