Join this in-person event for an engaging session all about preventing youth substance use. This event is your chance to connect with community members, share stories, and discover practical ways to support young people. Whether you’re a clinician, parent, teacher, or just interested, come along and be part of the conversation!
Project Empathy is a transformative workshop designed to reduce stigma and reshape how we understand substance use disorders. Grounded in neuroscience, this session explores how addiction affects the brain and why traditional approaches often fall short. Participants will learn practical strategies rooted in solution-focused therapy, strength-based practices, Positive Psychology, and empathy. Whether you’re in a professional setting or everyday conversation, discover how to bring compassion and effectiveness into substance use-related interactions. This workshop also highlights the unique challenges adolescents face with substance use, offering up-to-date data and developmental insight. Participants walk away with tools to build more meaningful, supportive, and evidence-informed responses
