Hill currently serves as Chairman of Phoenix House Texas Board of Directors, and through his visionary leadership, we are building awareness to remove the stigma surrounding individuals seeking help for substance use and mental health disorders.
As Chairman Emeritus of Hilltop Securities, Mr. Feinberg provides strategic counsel to Hilltop Securities’ Board of Directors. He maintains long-held relationships with clients and industry associations. Hill A. Feinberg was elected to the Board of Directors for Phoenix Houses of Texas in 1996 and the national board of Phoenix House in 2003.
Mr. Feinberg served as Chief Executive Officer of Hilltop Securities, a position he had held since 1991 with First Southwest. He has also served as a director of PlainsCapital Corporation to November 2012. Mr. Feinberg also formerly served as member of the Board of Directors of Compass Bancshares, Inc. and Texas Regional Bancshares, Inc. and as senior managing director of Bear Stearns & Co. and vice president with Salomon Brothers. Notably, he served as a first lieutenant in the United State Army during the Vietnam War.
His civic and charitable affiliations include serving as a member of the Baylor Health Care System Foundation Board of Directors, a member of the Board of Trustees of Southwestern Medical Foundation, Chairman of the Board for Menninger Foundation, St. Mark’s School of Texas, The University of Georgia Foundation and the University of Georgia’s Terry School of Business Dean’s Advisory Council and the Distinguished Alumnus Award.
