Sulipsa Luque, LPC-S, MBA
Director of Outpatient
Sulipsa Luque is the Director of Outpatient Services for Phoenix House of Texas. She is passionate about team building, collaborative work and best practices for Phoenix patients and the Recovery Community in general. She is charged with managing the Adolescent Outpatient Programs, the Specialized Female Outpatient Program and Adult Outpatient Program for Phoenix House in San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, Houston and Round Rock. A strong believer of positive psychology, she incorporates client-center theories and strength-based curriculum into all aspects of programming.
Sulipsa has always worked with community-based agencies to assist families find access to resources. She worked many years as an educator, journalism and advocate. She engages in public speaking and workshops with health care professionals and the community.
Sulipsa loves spending time with her family both abroad and in the United States. She has numerous interests, with folklorico dancing, yoga , cycling and gardening at the top of the list.
Sulipsa is an alumnus of the University of Texas at Austin and completed her graduate counseling program at the University of St. Edwards in Austin, Texas. She received an MBA from Huston-Tillotson University, an HBCU and oldest higher-education institution in Austin.
