Alicia Coleman, CPA

Alicia Coleman has been a licensed CPA since 1993 and joined Phoenix House Texas in the Spring of 2020 after serving as CFO at a closely held private company. She brings significant experience from successful and varied financial management roles with Big 4, Fortune 100, privately held, and non-profit entities.

Before joining Phoenix House, Alicia served as Controller in the non-profit industry for 13 years. She started her non-profit career at The Potter’s House of Dallas after almost 10 years at SBC Communications (now AT&T). She started her accounting career at KPMG Peat Marwick and was honored to be the first black professional in their Dallas Office.

Alicia attended the University of North Texas and received her Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Accounting. She has volunteered much of her time over the years at her church, sorority, and other non-profits. She also served on the board of directors at West Dallas Community Center and Dallas All-Sports Association.

Alicia has two adult children and enjoys spending time with her family and cheering for her favorite sports teams.
