Outpatient Services
Our CARF-accredited outpatient services for teens include both intensive (nine-plus hours a week) and traditional (fewer than nine hours a week) options. Both provide individually tailored treatment plans that emphasize family education and encourage the development of community support for continued success after discharge. Services include comprehensive assessment, individual, group, and family counseling, psycho-educational therapy groups, case management, life-skills education, drug testing, and recreational activities that teach young people ways to have fun while sober. Patients take part in after-school sessions from one day to five days a week, enjoying ongoing engagement and positive activities with an appropriate support group.

Residential Services
Residential and outpatient drug and alcohol addiction treatment to help teen boys and girls rebuild self-esteem and chart a path toward recovery.
Located in Dallas, Phoenix House’s Hill A. Feinberg Center serves male and female teens ages 13 to 18 who struggle with substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health issues. Treatment for clients in residential care includes individual, group, and family counseling and the evidence-based practices that match solutions to each individual’s treatment needs. Residents can take part in a Dallas Independent School District credit recovery program.
Treatment effectiveness is enhanced by physical evaluation, case management, life skills education, pre-vocational and relapse prevention training, gender specific groups, and aftercare services. In addition to the residential program, we offer after-school outpatient services for students in the early stages of substance use disorder or transitioning out of residential treatment. Our programs help teens rebuild self-esteem, control anger, decrease impulsiveness and embrace a life in recovery.
