DESCRIPTION:Join us on Friday\, June 6\, 2025 from 8:30 – 10 AM at the Northern Metro Counseling Association (NMCA) Summer Conference to hear from PHT’s CEO\, Drew Dutton\, M.Ed.\, MBA\, MAPP\, LPC-S\, LCDC\, ACPS. Drew will be presenting Project Empathy: Neuroscience of Addiction and Positive Psychology Approaches.  \nAttendees will: \n\ndive into an engaging overview of the neuroscience of addiction\, \nexplore the intricacies of how substance use affects the brain\, \nlearn the impact of addiction nationally\, \nidentify barriers\, and \nbecome equipped with actionable strategies to overcome these barriers and pave the way for more effective interventions. \n\nThe conference is being held in-person in Frisco\, Texas. Conference registration costs are: \n\nNMCA Members: $130 for for Pre-Reg or $150 for Standard\nNon-Member: $160 for Pre-Reg (includes chapter dues) or $180 for Standard (includes chapter dues)\n\nNMCA is a local chapter of the Texas Counseling Association (TCA).
