SUMMARY:Partner Event | 2025 Shatterproof Walk to End Addiction Stigma
DESCRIPTION:Phoenix House Texas is excited to partner with Shatterproof for their 2025 Walk to End Addiction Stigma on Saturday\, November 15th in Dallas! As a beneficiary team\, Phoenix House Texas will get to keep 100% of the funds that our team raises through the walk! \nShatterproof’s mission is to increase access to recovery\, prevention\, and mental health resources for everyone who needs them. The Shatterproof Walk is an opportunity for communities to come together and walk to end the stigma of addiction while surrounded by friends\, family\, and loved ones. We’ll honor those we have lost\, celebrate those who are living in recovery\, and bring hope to the millions living with substance use disorders. \nThe walk is approximately 2 miles long and is dog friendly! (Dogs must be on a leash at all times.) The event schedule is: \n     8:00 AM – Walk site opens; participants can visit the Community Resource Village\, enjoy coffee\, & collect their bracelets!\n     9:30 AM – The official Walk Program begins (make sure you are checked in & have your bracelet!)\n     10:00 AM – The official Walk begins!\n     11:30 AM – The event site closes \nRegister to join our team and walk with us or donate to support us! Visit the Phoenix House Texas Shatterproof Team page to support Positive Prevention and help us end addiction stigma! \n  \n______________________________________________________________________________________________ \n  \nAdditional Event Information:  \nParking: Street parking on Olympus Blvd & the Wharf Rd; Two parking garages. Both are off of Bleecker St. Plenty of ADA parking\, Free parking within parking garages\, surface lots\, and dedicated retail spaces. \nDrop Off: Dedicated Uber & Lyft drop off and pick up so traffic keeps flowing\, and you get to where you need to go as soon as possible \nT-Shirt: Want the 2025 Shatterproof Walk to End Addiction Stigma t-shirt? Who doesn’t? Raise $50+ 1 month before the Walk Day\, and you will receive it in the mail before your event! (Did you miss the deadline? Not a problem! You will still get a shirt—it will just be after event day. You have until December 31\, 2025\, to raise $50 to get your 2025 shirt! The shirts are 1 per registered participant who raises $50. Shirts will not be available on-site for Walk Day.) \nOther Fundraising Incentives: All individual fundraising incentives (except for the Walk T-shirt) will be redeemed via email after the walk. Two weeks after the event date\, you will receive an email with a link to redeem the fundraising prizes you have earned. Once redeemed\, your prizes will be shipped directly to you. \nRegistering for Phoenix House Texas’ Shatterproof Walk team shows our community that together\, we are stronger than addiction.
