DESCRIPTION:Region 6 PRC invites you to our Regional Epidemiology Workgroup (REW) Stakeholders Collaboration Meeting on Wednesday\, February 12\, 2025 from 10 AM to 12 PM. The meeting will be held in the Lecture Hall at The Council on Recovery. The REW meeting will focus on data collection\, analysis\, and trends related to behavioral and mental health\, substance use\, and other public health concerns impacting our communities. This meeting serves as a collaborative space for school districts\, counselors\, public health professionals\, community partners\, and stakeholders to network\, share insights\, and develop data-driven solutions that address key health challenges. We are pleased to announce that our Guest Speaker will be Drew Dutton\, M.Ed.\, MBA\, MAPP\, LPC-S\, LCDC\, ACPS\, the President & CEO of Phoenix House Texas. This is an excellent opportunity to hear valuable insights from a leader in the field and engage in discussions on critical public health issues. This meeting is ideal for epidemiologists\, prevention specialists\, researchers\, coalition members\, behavioral and mental health experts\, school district representatives\, counselors\, and others working to create meaningful change through evidence-based strategies.
